Boston Baked Bean Gratin Recipe

  1. In a 7- to 8-inch flameproof skillet cook bacon over moderate heat till crisp and spoon off all but 1 Tbsp.

  7. Sprinkle crumbs over beans and broil about 4 inches from heat till topping is crisp and golden brown, 1 to 2 min.
