Italian Marinara - the Best!

  1. Heat olive oil in large saucepan.
  2. Add onions - let cook one minute.
  3. Stir in garlic.
  4. Cook until onion is translucent.
  5. Add all tomato products, water, and spices (mushrooms, if desired).
  6. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently.
  7. Lower heat and let simmer about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
