Ukrainian Cold Fruit Soup

  1. Put the water, cinnamon, lemon juice, bread crumbs and the lemon rind in large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, then add the fruits; reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
  3. Puree this mixture in a blender, then add the jam, wine and cranberry juice.
  4. Mix well, then refrigerate.
  5. Serve when well chilled.
