Dinosaur Birthday Cake

• 1 pkg. (2-layer size) cake mix
• 3 cups Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed
• food colouring, red & blue
• assorted candies

1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions for 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
2. Cut cake as shown in illustration.
3. Add 3 to 4 drops blue & red food colouring to whipped topping to colour frosting purple.
4. Using a small amount of frosting to hold pieces together, arrange cake on serving tray, as shown in photograph.
5. Frost cake with remaining whipped topping.
6. Decorate with assorted candies.
