Sausage Sauerkraut Dinner Recipe
- 2 pound linked sausage, cut into 4" links
- 2 teaspoon butter
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans sauerkraut
- 1 c. apple juice
- 2 apples, cut into wedges
- 4-6 Irish potatoes, cut into wedges
- Salt & pepper
- Saute/fry onions in butter.
- Arrange sauerkraut, onions and sausage in frying pan.
- Put apples and potatoes over top.
- Salt and pepper.
- Pour on juice.
- Cover, stirring and simmer 30-40 min.
- Add in more juice if needed.
