Banana Fig Bran Bread Recipe
- 1 pkt Yeast
- 2 1/2 c. Better for Bread Flour
- 1 c. Wheat Flour
- 1/2 c. Toasted wheat germ or possibly bran
- 1/3 c. Instant nonfat dry lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Gluten
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Banana ripe/sliced
- 3/4 c. Mission figs dry/quartered tips removed
- 2 x Egg whites
- 1 Tbsp. Canola or possibly veg. oil
- 2 Tbsp. Malt extract (or possibly honey)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 c. Very hot water
- Add in all the ingredients into the pan in the order listed Select white bread and push "Start".
- Filled with fruits and fibers this flavorful two-and-a-half lb.
- loaf provides the RDA for postassium in two half-round slices.
