Yummy Homemade Meatballs
- 1/2 cups Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Basil
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Thyme
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 1 pound, 1-23 ounces, weight Ground Beef
- 1.
- Preheat oven to 375 F. 2.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 3.
- Use a plate and pour half of the breadcrumbs onto it.
- 4.
- Using a large bowl, stir together the egg, remaining breadcrumbs, garlic, cheese and all the spices.
- 5.
- Add the beef and using your hands, thoroughly mix the beef into the ingredients.
- Youll need to do this for a few minutes.
- 6.
- Using your hands take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture at a time, roll the meat into balls, then roll each ball in the remaining breadcrumbs making sure they are covered well.
- Place onto baking sheet.
- 7.
- Bake meatballs for 25 minutes.
- Recipe should make 16 meatballs/ 8.
