Gingerbread
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 14 cup light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 12 lb butter
- 2 teaspoons cloves
- 12 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 cups flour
- Heat first 8 ingredients on stove until sugar is not grainy, DO NOT BOIL.
- Place mixture into a large bowl and beat in the soda and flour.
- Chill over night.
- Roll out and cut out gingerbread cut outs.
- Bake at 350 degrees.
- 10-12 minutes.
