Bacon and cheese meatballs

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Break the bread in big-ish pieces into a bowl.
  3. Cover with enough milk so the bread soaks up all the milk.
  4. Place the mince in a seperate bowl and add the salt, parsley and cheese.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Mash the bread with a fork to incorporate all the milk.
  7. Add the bread mixture to the mince mixture and mix well.
  8. Roll the mixture into balls and cover with bacon, secure with a toothpick.
  9. Pour oil into an oven save dish and place the meatballs evenly in the dish.
  10. Bake in the oven for 20 - 30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  11. (You can fry them on the stove top as well but I find that they break easily.)
