Barbecue Sauce For Pork Spare Ribs Recipe
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon warm sauce
- 2 tbsp. orange marmalade
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- Saute/fry onions in oil.
- Mix remaining ingredients (except sugar) and add in to onions.
- Simmer uncovered for 15 min.
- Add in sugar at the end of the cooking.
- Yield about 1 1/2 c.. Orange marmalade is the secret to this recipe; while it goes best with pork, it can be used with chicken too.
