Grilled Teriyaki Tuna
- 2 qt. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1-1/2 qt. A.1. Original Sauce
- 3 cups soy sauce
- 3 cups dry sherry
- 1/4 cup garlic, minced
- 48 each Ahi tuna steaks (4 oz. each)
- 1/2 cup oil
- - salt and pepper
- Mix sugar, steak sauce, soy sauce, sherry and garlic in saucepan; bring just to boil on medium heat.
- Remove from heat; keep warm.
- Brush tuna with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Grill 2 min.
- Rotate steaks 90; cook an additional 2 min.
- Turn steaks over; continue cooking until desired doneness, repeating the rotation process to evenly mark second side with grid lines.
- Spoon about 2 Tbsp.
- of the steak sauce mixture over each steak.
- Serve with 3 Tbsp.
- of the remaining sauce on the side.
