Ox Tail Stew
- 1 each oxtails cut up
- 1 each bay leaves
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 quarts water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red hot chili pepper, dried crushed
- 1 each onions quartered
- Cook ox tails in all above ingredients until tender, 2 or 3 hours.
- Then add: 1 cup up diced carrots 2 stalks chopped celery 1 can tomatoes.
- Drop in vegetables with ox tails and cook until done.
- (Optional: add 1 teaspoon sugar to enhance flavor.)
