Bourbon Bits Recipe
- 1 bottle chili sauce (not cocktail)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. bourbon
- 2 lbs. little smokies or possibly warm dogs, cut in 1 1/2 inch pcs
- Combine first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil, add in meat and simmer slowly for 1 hour.
- Best done in crock pot and simmered a couple of hrs to let meat absorb flavor.
