Easy Ribs (Chinese Flavor) Recipe
- 3 or possibly 4 lbs. pork spareribs
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 sm. piece ginger, peeled and chopped
- Place ribs in large pot; add in sufficient water to cover.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 30-45 min, then drain.
- Combine soy sauce, catsup, brown sugar, honey, garlic and ginger in large glass dish.
- Marinate ribs in mix at least 20 min or possibly overnight.
- Broil or possibly grill ribs over medium coals till nicely browned, basting occasionally.
- Serves 6.
