Busy Woman's Roast Chicken Recipe

  1. Prepare stuffing according to package directions with 1 1/4 c. water.
  2. Set aside to cold.
  3. When cold, stir in the wine.
  4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, cook carrots in small amount of water for 5 min.
  5. Drain and place in the crockpot.
  6. Rinse and dry chicken; stuff with dressing.
  7. Place on top of carrots in crockpot.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  9. Cover pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hrs.
  10. Chicken may be browned in baking pan at 400 for 15 min in oven, if you like.
