Spinach With Walnut Sauce
- 14 cup walnuts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 12 tablespoons water
- 1 lb fresh spinach
- Grind walnuts in an electric grinder.
- Transfer walnuts to a small bowl, add sugar, dashi, and soy.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Blanch spinach in boiling water for about 30 seconds.
- Drain and revive under cold water.
- Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Place Spinach on four plates, and spoon portion of sauce over each.
