Bleu Cheese Pinwheels Recipe
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls (Pillsbury)
- 3 ounce. cream cheese, softened
- 3 ounce. bleu cheese
- 2-4 tbsp. cream or possibly lowfat milk
- 18 green olives stuffed with pimento (cut into circular halves)
- Unroll the crescent rolls to create two rectangles.
- Spread with mixtures of cream cheese, bleu cheese and sufficient cream to make a spreadable consistency.
- Roll up rectangles starting with short side.
- Slice into 1/4 inch slices.
- Top each pinwheel slice with a slice of olive and bake 375 degrees 10 min on a greased cookie sheet.
- Makes 36 pinwheels of 2 inch diameter.
