Creamed Cabbage Gratin

  1. For each serving: Add cabbage to pan of boiling water; blanch 20 sec.
  2. Drain cabbage; place in medium bowl.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except chives; mix well.
  4. Spoon about 2 cups cabbage mixture into each of 24 small casserole dishes sprayed with cooking spray (or into 1 casserole dish for trial recipe).
  5. Bake in 350 degrees F standard oven 40 min.
  6. or until cabbage mixture is heated through and top is lightly browned.
  7. Place under broiler; broil until golden brown.
  8. Garnish each with 1/4 tsp.
  9. chives.
