Creamed Cabbage Gratin
- 3 gal. savoy cabbage, quartered, cored and thinly sliced
- PHILADELPHIA Original Cream Cheese, cut into cubes, softened
- 1 qt. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chives, finely chopped
- For each serving: Add cabbage to pan of boiling water; blanch 20 sec.
- Drain cabbage; place in medium bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients except chives; mix well.
- Spoon about 2 cups cabbage mixture into each of 24 small casserole dishes sprayed with cooking spray (or into 1 casserole dish for trial recipe).
- Bake in 350 degrees F standard oven 40 min.
- or until cabbage mixture is heated through and top is lightly browned.
- Place under broiler; broil until golden brown.
- Garnish each with 1/4 tsp.
- chives.
