Pomegranate Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup 100% pomegranate juice
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 to 2 teaspoons brown sugar, not packed
- Bring the water, juice, and salt to a rapid boil in a small saucepan over high heat.
- Add the oats and turn the heat to medium.
- Cook the oats 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is almost absorbed.
- Cover the pan and remove it from the heat.
- Allow it to sit 5 minutes, and then stir in the sugar.
- Serve immediately.
