Spicy Shrimp Arrabbiata

  1. In a large saucepan, heat your butter and olive oil over medium high heat.
  2. Once butter is melted, reduce heat to medium and add your onion.
  3. Cook for 3-5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  4. Add your mushroom and garlic.
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes more.
  6. Add your wine and reduce for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Then pour your marinara sauce and crushed red pepper into your pan and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  8. When almost ready to eat add your shrimp and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Do not over cook your shrimp or they will get rubbery and tasteless.
  10. Add a couple spoonfuls of your red sauce to your pasta, mix well.
  11. Plate your pasta and top with LOTS more red sauce and shrimp.
  12. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
