Drunken Doggies
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 12 cup ketchup
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 1 lb frankfurter
- In a medium saucepan, combine bourbon, ketchup and brown sugar.
- Cook over medium-low, stirring frequently until brown sugar has dissolved and mixture has thickened slightly, about 30 minutes.
- Cut frankfurters into diagonal slices about 1/2 inch thick.
- Add to sauce and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
- Serve with toothpicks.
