Drunken Doggies

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine bourbon, ketchup and brown sugar.
  2. Cook over medium-low, stirring frequently until brown sugar has dissolved and mixture has thickened slightly, about 30 minutes.
  3. Cut frankfurters into diagonal slices about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Add to sauce and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with toothpicks.
