Glazed Carrots Recipe
- 1 pound carrots
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil or possibly safflower oil
- 3/4 teaspoon dry basil, oregano or possibly Italian seasoning
- 1 sm. clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- Fresh grnd pepper
- Peel or possibly scrub carrots and cut into thin strips or possibly pcs.
- Heat oil in frying pan, add in carrots.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 min, stirring occasionally.
- Add in basil, oregano or possibly Italian seasoning, sugar, garlic, water and pepper.
- Cook uncovered about 20 min till carrots are tender and liquid is reduced to a thin syrup.
