Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Bites
- 1/2 packages Semi sweet milk choc chips
- 1/2 packages Ghirardelli milk choc chips
- 2 tbsp Crisco butter flavor veg shortening stick
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, cut up bananas half inch thick or so, then spread/wedge some peanut butter between 2 round banana slices.
- And once done with a pan full, put the pan in freezer for about an hour or so.
- After they have been in freezer for hour or longer, leave them still in there while you melt half a bag of ghiradelli milk choc chips, and half a bag of semi sweet Hershey choc chips..with 2 tablespoons of Crisco veg shortening (butter flavor)...in a glass bowl in microwave.
- Put on 1 min increments and take out and stir, and back in for another min or 2, and out & stir until melted.
- Then dip, put back on parchment paper baking sheet that it was on.
- Put in freezer another hour or so to harden up.
- Take them all off, and put in a freezer bag or freezer container, and store in freezer.
- TIP/FYI: whenever you want to eat some, never let them defrost completely because bananas will be soggy.
- Usually I just take a few or however many I want out of the freezer container that I put them in, and let them sit out on a napkin about 10 min or so.
