Baked Rice With Cheese And Green Chilies Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat the oil in a small skillet.
  3. Add in the onion and saute/fry over low heat till lightly browned.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the onion with the rice and all the remaining ingredients.
  5. Stir together thoroughly.
  6. Pour the mix into a lightly oiled, 1 1/2-qt baking casserole.
  7. Bake for 35 min, or possibly till the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. This recipe yields 6 or possibly more servings.
