Stir-Fried Brussels Sprouts
- 3 container Brussel sprouts
- 3 tbsp. salad oil
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- Earlier in the Day: Trim tough ends from Brussels sprouts; then cut each lengthwise in half.
- Place Brussels sprouts in plastic bag and refrigerate.
- About 15 Minutes Before Serving: In 12-inch skillet over high heat, in hot salad oil, cook Brussels sprouts, stirring quickly and frequently, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add salt and 1/2 cup water; heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until Brussels sprouts are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
