Broccoli And Mushroom Pie With A Potato Crust Recipe

  2. While the crust is baking, put the onions in a medium-large pot with some water and saute/fry on medium-high till soft, about 5 min or possibly so.

  4. Add in the mushrooms and cook 3-4 more min, adding more water if necessary.

  6. Turn the heat to medium; add in the salt, garlic and broccoli and cook till the broccoli is just softened.
  7. If there is water or possibly juice from the vegetables on the bottom, add in a couple Tbsp.
  8. of flour to thicken.
  9. Pour the vegetables into the piecrust and spread the remaining mashed potatoes over the top.

  11. Cook for 30 min and serve warm.
