Holiday Happiness Torte Recipe
- 1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix, Devils Food, white or possibly yellow
- 1 can (21 ounce.) Wilderness cherry fruit filling
- 1 pkg. Jiffy white or possibly fudge frosting mix
- 1 c. whipping cream
- Pam no-stick cooking spray
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with Pam.
- Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
- Bake in loaf pan 30 min or possibly till done.
- Cold in pan 5 min.
- Turn out and cold completely.
- In small mixer bowl, refrigeratefrosting mix and whipping cream (about 1 hour).
- Beat till mix forms stiff peaks.
- Slice cake into 3 layers.
- Assemble cake by spooning 2/3rds cherry pie filling between two bottom layers, reserving 1/3rd of filling for top of cake.
- Spread frosting mix on sides and top of cake, building up edge around top.
- Arrange remaining cherry filling on top.
- Refrigerateto set.
- Serves 10.
