Good Slaw
- 1 large or 2 small heads cabbage
- 1 large onion
- 7/8 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 3/4 c. Mazola oil
- 1 lb. cranberries (wash, freeze and grind with 1 orange including rind)
- 1 c. sugar (per c. of fruit)
- 2 pkg. raspberry jello
- 2 c. hot water
- 2 c. crushed pineapple, drained (use juice for part of water)
- 2 c. diced celery
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- Add sugar to cranberries.
- Leave in fridge overnight.
- Dissolve jello in hot water.
- Mix remaining ingredients with refrigerated fruit next a.m.
- Let set before serving.
- Makes 2 molds.
- Keeps in fridge 3 days.
- Freezes well.
