Bruschetta Patty Melts
- 1/2 whole Green Pepper, Minced
- 2 whole Mushrooms, Minced
- 1/2 whole Onion, Minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, Chopped Finely
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/4 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 teaspoons Red Wine
- 1 pound Ground Pork
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 1/2 cups Prepared Bruschetta
- 1/2 cups Cheese Of Choice (provolone, Mozzarella, Shredded Parmesan)
- 3 whole English Muffins, Halved And Toasted
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Saute pepper, mushrooms, onions and garlic and let cool.
- Combine basil, egg, Parmesan cheese and wine in a bowl.
- Add cooked vegetables and ground pork to the bowl and gently combine.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Form into patties.
- Place on a broiler pan and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Take cooked patties out of the oven and top each one with a spoonful of bruschetta and cheese.
- Turn broiler on and place burgers back into the oven.
- Cook until cheese is completely melted and slightly browned.
- Serve open-faced style on toasted English muffins.
