Bruschetta Patty Melts

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Saute pepper, mushrooms, onions and garlic and let cool.
  3. Combine basil, egg, Parmesan cheese and wine in a bowl.
  4. Add cooked vegetables and ground pork to the bowl and gently combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Form into patties.
  7. Place on a broiler pan and cook for about 15 minutes.
  8. Take cooked patties out of the oven and top each one with a spoonful of bruschetta and cheese.
  9. Turn broiler on and place burgers back into the oven.
  10. Cook until cheese is completely melted and slightly browned.
  11. Serve open-faced style on toasted English muffins.
