Black Bean & Garlic Mac & Cheese
- 12 each KRAFT DINNER Frozen Macaroni & Cheese (7-oz. pouch)
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1-1/2 qt. bok choy cabbage, sliced Safeway 1 lb For $1.28 thru 02/09
- 1-1/2 qt. shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 qt. red peppers, julienned
- 3/4 cup black bean garlic sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- For each serving: Prepare 1 pouch Macaroni & Cheese as directed on package.
- Meanwhile, heat 2 tsp.
- (10 mL) oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add 1/2 cup (125 mL) each bok choy and mushrooms, and 1/3 cup (75 mL) peppers; saute 2 to 4 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in garlic sauce.
- Add macaroni & cheese; mix lightly.
- Cook 1 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon onto plate; sprinkle with 1/2 tsp.
- (2 mL) sesame seed.
