Lisas Southern Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Cream the butter, sugar, flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add the syrup, eggs, and vanilla, then fold in the pecans.
  4. Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until firm to the touch.
  5. Serve the pie warm or cool.
