Bavarian Style German Potato Salad Recipe
- 7 med baking potatoes to 9
- 1/2 c. vinegar to 2/3
- 1/2 c. boiling water to 2/3
- 1 tsp salt to 1 1/2
- 1 sm onion finely minced pepper

- Boil 7-9 Medium BAKING Potatoes (whole)
- Peel Warm, place in mixing bowl & Mash w/fork Add in equal parts vinegar & BOILING water to taste**
- (**Approx: 1/2 - 2/3 C. of each)
- Add in 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoon saltAdd 1 small to medium finely minced onion
- Consistency should be like wet mashed potatoes.
- Taste it and add in a little more water and/or possibly vinegar if necessary (depending on your own individual taste preferences) Mix well & transfer to serving bowl;
- Sprinkle with lots of pepper.
- Cover and let refrigerateovernight (this is important).
