Paneer Cutlets

  1. Crumble paneer by hand or mash with a fork.
  2. Mix in chilies, coriander, mint, onions, chili powder and salt.
  3. Shape into flat round balls.
  4. Dip in egg, then in breadcrumbs.
  5. Let dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. In hot oil, deep fry cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve with toast or in round bread rolls, as for hamburgers, with tomato and onion slices.
