Campfire Chicken
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 slice ham
- 4 slices pepperoni
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 slice cheese per chicken breast (harder cheeses are best, like Swiss)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cut off a square of aluminum foil big enough to wrap chicken breast.
- Place chicken breast on foil, add salt and pepper, layer onion, cheese and then the ham.
- Wrap tightly and set on the fire, or in a pan on a camp stove.
- (If you're at home you can do this in your oven.
- Set your oven temp to 375F and bake for 20 minutes.)
- Chicken should be done in 10 to 15 minutes depending on how hot your fire is.
- Use tongs to get the chicken out of the fire and check for doneness (No pink juices or pink on the inside of chicken).
- Serve in the foil on a plate so you don't lose any of the yummy juices.
