Banana White Chocolate Loaf Recipe
- 1/4 c. unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c. pastry flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 c. mashed banana
- 1/2 c. white chocolate, minced, plus some for drizzling
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 6 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar together till light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking pwdr, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Add in to creamed mix alternately with banana.
- Mix in minced white chocolate.
- Scrape batter into pan and spread proportionately.
- Bake for 30 min till a tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow to cold 10 min in the pan, then turn out onto a plate.
- To Assemble:Heat white chocolate and drizzle on to cake.
