Wild Rice and Sausage Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cook wild rice according to package directions.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Once its browned, drain off the grease and set aside.
  6. Mix rice, sausage, onion, pepper, soup and half of the cheese in a large bowl.
  7. Put the mixture into a greased casserole 10 x 8 dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
