Wild Rice and Sausage Casserole
- 2 packages 7 Ounce Packages, Seasoned Wild Rice Mix
- 1 pound Bulk Pork Sausage, Sage Variety
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 1 whole Red Pepper, Stem And Seeds Removed, Chopped
- 1 can (10 1/2 Oz. Size) Cream Of Mushroom Soup, Undiluted
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cook wild rice according to package directions.
- Set aside.
- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once its browned, drain off the grease and set aside.
- Mix rice, sausage, onion, pepper, soup and half of the cheese in a large bowl.
- Put the mixture into a greased casserole 10 x 8 dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
