Triple Layer Mud Pie
- 1 chocolate ready crust pie shell (6 oz.)
- 2 sq. semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
- 1/4 c. Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted
- 2 c. cold milk
- 2 pkg. (4 serving size) chocolate flavored instant pudding
- 1 (8 oz.) tub frozen non dairy whipped topping, thawed
- Pour chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into bowl; stir until smooth and pour into crust.
- Press nuts evenly onto chocolate in the crust and refrigerate 10 minutes.
- Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding mixes.
- Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Mixture will be thick.
- Spread 1 1/2 cups of the pudding over nuts and chocolate layer in crust. Immediately stir half of the whipped topping into remaining pudding.
- Spread over pudding in crust.
- Top with remaining whipped topping.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or until set.
