Passover Matzos For Dogs
- 1 matzo
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tbsp ground matzo meal
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 4 quart water
- Soak matzo in 1 cup cold water for about 5 minutes.
- Press dry.
- Place soaked matzo, oil, parsley flakes, egg, and matzo meal in a small bowl.
- Mix thoroughly to combine.
- Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Wet hands and roll matzo into bite-sized balls.
- Meanwhile bring 4 quarts water to a full rolling boil in a large saucepan over high heat.
- Drop balls into water and cook for about 20 minutes.
- Serve 1 or more matzo balls over dry dog food.
- *A small amount of low sodium chicken broth can be added as well for more flavor.
