Gin Lane
- 3 lemon wedges
- Superfine sugar
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Ice
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce sloe gin, preferably Plymouth
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1/2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
- 1 lemon twist
- Moisten half of the outer rim of a martini glass with 1 of the lemon wedges and coat lightly with sugar.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the remaining 2 lemon wedges with the bitters.
- Add ice and all of the remaining ingredients except the twist.
- Shake well and strain into the prepared martini glass.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
