Modern Sausage Sandwich with Ginger and Mustard Relish

  1. Mix mustard, minced stem ginger and 2 tablespoons ginger syrup in small bowl.
  2. Place sausages, cut side down, in large nonstick skillet.
  3. Cook over medium heat until heated through and beginning to brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Spread butter over cut sides of bread.
  5. Spread mustard mixture over butter.
  6. Arrange tomato slices and arugula on bottom half.
  7. Top with sausages.
  8. Top with remaining bread.
  9. Cut crosswise into 4 sandwiches and serve.
