Beef Ziti Casserole Recipe
- 8 ounce ziti macaroni, uncooked
- 1 x (16 ounce.) can DelMonte cut green beans, liquid removed
- 1 x (11 ounce.) can Green Giant Niblets corn, liquid removed
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 2 x (10 3/4 ounce.) cans Campbell's condensed golden brown mushroom soup
- 1 x (14 1/2 ounce.) can DelMonte stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dry basil leaves, crushed
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook ziti according to package directions
- Drain.
- Return cooked ziti and vegetables (green beans and corn) to cooking pot used to cook ziti.
- Meanwhile, in 10 inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef till browned,stirring to separate meat; drain fat.
- Stir in soup, tomatoes, basil, pepper, and garlic to meat.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Add in soup mix to ziti mix; mix well.
- Spoon into greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 15 min.
- Uncover; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 5 min more or possibly till cheese melts.
- Makes7 1/2 c. or possibly 6 servings.
