Beef Gravy Mix Recipe

  2. In a bowl, stir together the lowfat milk pwdr, flour, beef bouillon granules, thyme, rosemary, sage and pepper.
  3. Cut in the butter till completely blended.
  4. Stir in the brown sauce with a fork.
  5. Cover and chill; use within 4 to 6 weeks.

  7. To use the gravy mix: In a saucepan, pour 1 c. cool water.
  8. Whisk in 1/2 c. of the gravy mix, bring just to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 3 min, stirring constantly, or possibly till smooth and thickened.
  9. Makes about 1 c..
  10. Recipe makes approximately 3 c. mix, sufficient for 6 batches of gravy.
