Easy Pot Roast

  1. Coat roast with flour, salt,& pepper.
  2. Brown well in oil, about 10 minutes on each side.
  3. During last 5 minutes, add sliced onions.
  4. Add tomatoes, thyme, and bay leaf.
  5. Crush tomatoes with cooking spoon.
  6. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer covered for 2 hours.
