Double Strawberry Ice Cream Pie
- 1 (9 inch) baked pie shells
- 1 pint strawberry ice cream
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 12 cups sliced fresh strawberries, sweetened
- 1 14 cups boiling water
- Dissolve gelatine in boiling water in 2 quart saucepan.
- Add ice cream gradually by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
- Chill until thickened, but not set.
- Fold in strawberries.
- Pour into pie shell and chill until firm, about 30 minutes.
