Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Blast

  1. Cream sugars with butter, preferably by fork.
  2. Add egg, soda, vanilla, and salt and stir well.
  3. Add flour and blend; dough will be quite dry.
  4. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
  5. Press tightly into patties approximately 3/4-inch thick and form round using thumb and pointer finger in circular mold.
  6. Place on greased cookie sheet or stone and bake at 375F for 12-13 minutes.
  7. Don't overcook!
  8. The cookies will be soft inside and are best if made larger in size.
