Easy Cheesy Tuna & Shells Recipe
- 8 ounce. shells, uncooked
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn mixed vegetables, thawed & liquid removed
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- Dash pepper
- Dash nutmeg
- 1 can tuna Or possibly 1 pkg. frzn "tuno", thawed & well liquid removed
- Prepare shells according to directions; drain.
- In skillet heat butter.
- Add in vegetables and garlic and cook till tender.
- In medium bowl blend soup and lowfat milk.
- Add in to vegetables.
- Stir in remaining ingredients EXCEPT shells and tuna.
- Cook and stir till cheese melts.
- Stir in shells and tuna.
- Heat through.
