Turkey Sloppy Joe Sliders

  1. Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the carrots, onions and garlic.
  3. Saute until they start to soften, 3 minutes.
  4. Add the turkey and break up using a wooden spoon.
  5. Cook until browned all over, 5 minutes.
  6. Add the chili powder, crushed red pepper, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
  7. Cook a minute more.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, vinegar and tomato sauce.
  9. Add to the turkey mixture.
  10. Cook on low until reduced, 5 more minutes.
  11. Spoon out a good helping of sloppy joe onto the bottom half of the slider and top with the...well, top.
  12. Dig in.
