Asparagus in Chikuwa Wrapped in Pork Belly
- 8 slice Thinly sliced pork belly meat
- 8 stick Chikuwa
- 4 stick Asparagus
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- Peel the hard parts off of the asparagus with a peeler.
- Boil the asparagus.
- Cut the asparagus in half, and pack it into the chikuwa.
- Wrap the chikuwa from Step 3 in the pork.
- It looks pretty if you wrap it at a bit of an angle.
- After wrapping them all up...
- Thoroughly fry while rolling them around in a pan until golden brown.
- There will be grease, so wipe the pan with a paper towel.
- Finally, season with a bit of salt and pepper...
- Cut them into you desired portion sizes, and they are done.
