Asparagus in Chikuwa Wrapped in Pork Belly

  1. Peel the hard parts off of the asparagus with a peeler.
  2. Boil the asparagus.
  3. Cut the asparagus in half, and pack it into the chikuwa.
  4. Wrap the chikuwa from Step 3 in the pork.
  5. It looks pretty if you wrap it at a bit of an angle.
  6. After wrapping them all up...
  7. Thoroughly fry while rolling them around in a pan until golden brown.
  8. There will be grease, so wipe the pan with a paper towel.
  9. Finally, season with a bit of salt and pepper...
  10. Cut them into you desired portion sizes, and they are done.
