Apple Stuffed Pork Chops
- 4 whole (1" Thick) Pork Chops
- Salt And Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Onion
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Celery
- 1/4 cups Margarine
- 1 cup Fresh Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Chopped Apples (Peeled And Cored)
- 2 teaspoons Dried Parsley
- 1/4 cups Oil
- Trim fat from pork chops and slice as deep a pocket as possible.
- Salt and pepper the insides of the pockets.
- Saute the onion and celery in margarine.
- Add bread crumbs, apples and parsley to the pan.
- Stir and remove from heat.
- Spoon into the pockets and secure with toothpicks.
- Heat oil in a skillet on medium high and brown both sides of the chops.
- Place in a greased 9x13 pan and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for 30 more minutes.
