Garden Salad with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette
- 8 cups torn fresh spinach leaves
- 1 medium tomato, coarsely chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Thick Cut Bacon, cut into quarters
- 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup HEINZ Distilled White Vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Toss spinach with tomatoes in large serving bowl; set aside.
- Cook and stir bacon and onions in large skillet on medium heat until bacon is crisp; discard drippings in skillet.
- Return bacon mixture to skillet.
- Add vinegar, water, sugar and pepper; mix well.
- Cook 3 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Add to spinach mixture; toss to coat.
- Serve immediately.
